The Mendera Books
A long time ago I had these wonderful characters in my head. Some of them populated the City of The Lost God, which uses the Mendera universe. Not that there was a Mendera then, but my characters needed a world. A world needs money, farmers, cities……You get the idea. Mendera was born and with it a religious system. Oh, that religious system with its darkness and light in competition. I think it worked very well.
There was a certain rawness to the Mendera Trilogy, especially in the first book. I’ve resisted the urge to carry out major rewrites and I have readers who always say…There’s something about that trilogy………Raw yes, but also wonderfully dark.

Trilogy Book 1 - The Chronicles Of Mardoun
We're straight into the action, with Kittara showing how naturally she takes to violence and mayhem. There's an introduction to Mendera City and the other worlds that make up the Menderan Empire. Above all, this is Kittara's world and very much her story.

We go back to before Mendera existed, to the last great switch, when the Multiverse culled 99.99% of all existence. From the ashes of that ultimate apocalypse, The Chalné, the great eternal, set about building an Empire to protect the ultimate secret that he’d been concealing and protecting for countless billions of years.
Trilogy Book 3 - Mendera Temple

We start two hundred years after the end of Mendera Empire and Estrid’s 18th birthday party. We’re now in very troubled times in the Menderan Multiverse, with the deities waking up and some very strange things going on in the rifts.
Then of course there is the problem of the undead beneath the City of the Lost God. If you’ve read the first two books you’ll know the problems well, but there will be new characters and surprises in this third book.
