Happy Christmas everyone. Just a week to go! I’m not religious, but I still love the whole buzz associated with the festive season. Even the Romans called it the festive season BTW. It was their Saturnalia.
This is blog number 486 and sadly the last. The company hosting my websites seem to be concentrating on small business accounts. The amount they want to charge me for 2023 is huge, far more than I can justify spending on a hobby.
No, this isn’t a begging note, I’m not after your cash. This site was only intended to last until Labour got back into power. Then Corbyn came along and the years went by…..Hopefully Labour will get into power in 2024.
I will be moving by books and short stories to a new, far cheaper website hosting service. But, blogs are all about history and there’s no way I can type in, or import, nine years of posts. I did think about it and annoyed a few tech guys…..But it wasn’t doable.
So, this is the final post! I will leave the site up for a couple of weeks.
